Test baker celebrates 25 years’ service with Tom Chandley
Andrew Jones, Test Baker, is celebrating 25 years of service for Tom Chandley Ovens in September. Tom Chandley Ovens is a family-run business that strives to innovate and prides itself on meeting the ever-changing needs of its customers.
Andrew started working at Tom Chandley Ovens on 4th September 1989 and over the past 25 years he has been involved in a variety of challenging projects covering every aspect of the food service and bakery industries.
Andrew has commented that he is looking forward to continuing to meet those challenges but is still looking for improvement and innovations. He added “I would sincerely like to thank all the customers, technical representatives and colleagues that I have worked with over the years for their help and support.”
Sales Director Martin Dyson comments “Andrew is a vital part of the team – his dedication over the past 25 years has been invaluable and I’d like to offer my sincere gratitude to Andrew for all his hard work on behalf of everyone at Tom Chandley Ovens.”
Andrew is in charge of the Test Bakery Department of Tom Chandley Ovens, a fully-equipped working bakery, which includes a range of the company’s ovens and equipment. The bakery is used to support customers with product development as well as Chandley’s on-going R&D programme. In recent years, Andrew has also been the company’s sales representative for Scotland and will continue in the role.
